An introduction to start-up contracts in energy field,‎ with an emphasis on investment contracts

Abstract
The energy industries such as oil and gas industry and water and electricity , known as large industries with various aspects in upstream and downstream, needs to hand over part of its duties to start-up companies. so they could act in the field of oil and gas properly and focus on technological activities and due to the characteristics Its special nature, such as risk-taking and high creation speed, could help the entry and development of technology in these industries. In order to enter the energy industries, these startups need to have a precise legal structure. the present study in the first part, with a descriptive method, examines these startup contracts, including the founders' or co-founders' agreements, shareholders' agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and non-compete Agreements. In the second part, the conventional agreements of investing in startups are studied, and after introducing the appropriate agreements of investing in energy startups, the method of entering into an investment contract is studied as another type of vital contract for the growth and survival of a startup in these large industry. Finally, the current research provides a general picture of contractual requirements and different types of contracts of start-up companies in the field of energy industries, and by focusing on the description of different agreements in investment contracts, it explains the relationship between these contracts and start-up companies related to energy industries.
